I don’t know why exactly but I was never a real fan of the series…..and the fact that one of the last movies showed a ape who was the spitting image of the late Michael Jackson didn’t make me want to see more.
But because this was a prequel I had to give it a shot.
And I liked it very much ! And I really started to feel sorry for the chimpanzee and how they treated him.
The story: during the development of a Alzheimer’s cure the test subjects seem to have some side effects, their eyes are changing color and they are becoming a little more intelligent 
.
My score 8 stars.
